Lauren is a strategic advisor and fractional executive who partners with mission-driven organizations navigating growth, complexity, and change. With 16 years of experience across the nonprofit, education, and social impact sectors, she has spent her career helping leaders translate bold vision into clear priorities, aligned teams, strong governance, and effective systems.

Lauren’s work is shaped by a commitment to social justice and by Jewish values that include chesed, or lovingkindness and care for others, and tikkun olam, the work of repairing the world. In her consulting practice, those values show up through candidate-centered hiring, careful facilitation, practical support for leaders, and systems that help organizations make fairer, clearer, and more values-aligned decisions.

Lauren specializes in talent strategy, leadership development, and executive team effectiveness. She is known for her ability to serve as a trusted partner to CEOs, Executive Directors, Founders, and Boards by bringing structure to ambiguity, strengthening decision-making, and ensuring that big-picture strategy is meaningfully carried out through effective governance, leadership, and day-to-day execution.

Through Conceptual Consulting, Lauren has supported organizations including Sicangu CDC, Intertribal Agriculture Council, Hopebound, National Young Farmers Coalition, American Flood Coalition, and others. Her work often includes facilitating high-stakes conversations, guiding organizations through moments of growth and change, supporting Board and executive alignment, and designing people-centered systems, from full-cycle talent acquisition to orientation/onboarding, employee policies, and more, that support organizational sustainability.

Lauren began her career as a teacher in New York City public schools. She went on to hold roles at organizations including Teach For All and Grounded Solutions Network, where she focused on global impact measurement, adult learning, and large-scale training initiatives. She holds a Master of Science in Teaching from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Boston University, along with advanced training in nonprofit finance and group facilitation.

Outside of work, you’ll find Lauren running slowly, practicing yoga, or making pottery in her home studio. She lives in Aurora, Colorado, with her husband, their two young children, and her dog, Buddy the Rocket.
